PAce Principles.
There are few things in life that you can always control:
Precision - The attention to detail that goes into your work.
Attitude - How you react; staying positive when being challenged both mentally and physically.
Communication - How you choose to communicate with others (body language awareness).
Effort - How hard you want to work to accomplish something. Do you strive for excellence?
We focus on the mastery of these skills, so that there is clarity in decision making, and limited excuse making.
Basketball is fun, but temporary. Character lasts a lifetime. We believe in developing young student-athletes of character, that have their priorities in order:
Faith > Family > Education > Basketball.
Everything else after that falls into place. We prepare them for the reality that, "No matter how good you are, or how good you become, you are going to hang up the shoes one day."
The self awareness that is developed will allow them to do so with pride, at whatever playing level the game ends.
